Christmas Dreams
It's Christmas, and Alaylam needs some entries.

It's hardly a secret that I rather loathe Christmas. Honestly, it seems to have lost its point since Target and Wal-Mart took over the world.

If I had my druthers and enough money to act upon these druthers, whatever they are, I'd travel from a week before Thanksgiving to a week after New Year's.

I'd go someplace warm, because I'm from a place with seasons, and warmth seems to be rather anti-Christmas to me.

I'd go somewhere that didn't speak English as a first language. I could refuse to learn how to say, Merry Christmas in this language, and I wouldn't know if someone was wishing me well.

I'd go someplace deserted. Sometimes, we need to be alone, and Christmas is the time I'd dearly love to be alone.

Alas, I have no money, so I keep my druthers in my pocket for a later time. Instead, I'm here, listening to Feliz Navidad about five times an hour, wondering how I'm gonna buy those last few gifts, and still wanting to go get pictures on Santa's lap. (What can I say, some things about this time of year are pretty wonderful.)

I have now filled C's diary with some of my dreams, and I'm hoping some sparklers will follow suit!

P.S. It is rather difficult to type an entry with a cat on your arm.

I think you lost some shyness, either that or I officially know you too well. I guess it's a smokescreen effect huh....
I guess they call this the point of no return...?
